Overview
The project comprised the construction of the a new train/ DART station, with four platforms, along the Dublin to Belfast railway line, at Clongriffin, Dublin 13.
The concourse area is elevated over the rail lines, and comprises a semi-open space with structural perimeter glazing, accommodating ticket office, vending machines, & retail unit, covered by an impressive curved roof.
The works also included the construction of a new plaza bridge structure over the existing railway/ dart line, with an interim access building and access road, including all associated ducted and electrical services.
The Dublin to Belfast railway line remained in operation during the course of the project.
