Overview

The new post primary school facility at Tullamore College was constructed on the existing school site in Co Offaly. The works were phased to ensure continued use of the existing facilities until the new state of the art school building was completed.

The first phase of the development included the construction of a new school building over two stories, with a PE Hall, built around an internal courtyard, external store and ESB substation. Phase 1 also included the demolition of an existing sports hall, and sections of the existing school building.

Phase 2 of the works involved demolition of the main school Building, and construction of new parking and access routes, site services, new ball courts, boundary enclosures and general landscaping.

MMPs QS services also included dealing with Main Contractor liquidation and later completion works management, and negotiations with the bondsman, to ensure a successful project for our Client.
