Overview

This was a relatively complex project which comprised the refurbishment of 50 existing local authority housing units, the demolition of 9 existing houses and the completion of 21 new houses and a Community Centre.

This project required very close working relationships between all parties, and involved decanting existing residents to faciality works on occupied houses.

The adaption and extension of the existing drains and live services to the new estate layout, and complete upgrade of all roads, footpaths and boundary walls, while the estate remained occupied was challenging but ultimately successfully delivered.

Client: Meath County Council.

Services: Full Quantity Surveying Services from planning stage to project completion.

Scale: 71 Social Houses plus Community Centre.
