Overview

The works to Pearse Railway Station were carried out within two contract packages. During the refurbishment and upgrade/ fit-out works Pearse Station remained fully operational to commuters.

The first package of works included for most of the building works to Westland Row Concourse to provide new ticket offices, retail unit, and installation of the new electrical distribution systems. It also included substantial water, drainage and sewer systems modifications and new installations.

The second package was building/civils dominant with a sizeable building services element. It included platform resurfacing, lift shaft construction, fit-out works to Trinity underpass and eastern entrance, and upgrade of the existing underpass and associated building services work and completion of works in Westland Row.
