John joined MMP Health & Safety Ltd. in 1997, having previously served as a commissioned officer with the British Navy and the Irish Navy. He has acted as expert witness on Health & Safety related court cases on many occasions. John works on major complex projects, including ILAC, Curragh Racecourse, Nass Hospital and Kildare VEC. He lectures on Health & Safety at UCD.

Gerry has been a legal consultant with MMP since 2005. He is also a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and worked with MMP from 1979 to 1989 and laterally from 2000. He has extensive experience in many aspects of the Construction Industry. He has served on many professional committees within the Construction Industry, and he is currently President of CEEC (Construction Economists within European Community). Gerry works on educational, medical, commercial, residential and refurbishment projects. He has specific interest and experience in Health & Safety legislation as applicable to construction projects.

John has been a director with MMP since 1980 and became chairman in 2004. He is responsible for MMP’s IT strategy and has been heavily involved in MMP ISO 9001 Quality Assurance registration. John has served on many professional committees within the Construction Industry. He was President of The Society of Chartered Surveyors in 2002. He works in educational, medical, commercial, residential and refurbishment projects. John is responsible for MMP’s Sligo office, and he is also a director with MMP Health & Safety Ltd. and MMP Project Management Ltd.
